Simon A. Levin has been elected a member of Academia Europaea (The Academy of Europe). The Academy was founded in 1988, on the initiative of the United Kingdom's Royal Society and other National Academies in Europe, and is the only Academy with individual membership from the Council of Europe states and from other nations across the world.
